Throughout my career I have developed extensive experience in documentary photography through both military service and international travel. My background began in the United States Army as a Combat Camera specialist, where I documented military operations, training exercises, and real-world mission environments both in the United States and overseas. That experience took me to assignments around the world and taught me how to work in fast-moving, unpredictable, and high-pressure situations while still being able to capture meaningful visual storytelling.
During my military service, I also spent time helping train NATO forces in psychological operations and standard operating procedures related to documenting conflict situations. Much of this work involved training Romanian soldiers and allied personnel on how to properly document military exercises, operational environments, and real-time events in a professional and organized manner. Working in those environments taught me the importance of adaptability, situational awareness, discipline, and understanding how to visually tell stories in complex and emotionally intense situations.
Outside of the military, I continued expanding my documentary experience through solo travel across more than twenty-five countries around the world. Traveling independently through different cultures and environments strengthened my ability to quickly adapt, communicate with people from different backgrounds, and work effectively in unfamiliar situations. My experience planning travel logistics and working in difficult environments has helped me become highly versatile both creatively and professionally.
When working with me, clients can expect someone who is calm under pressure, experienced in challenging environments, and capable of capturing authentic moments that tell real stories. My documentary work focuses on human emotion, atmosphere, culture, and the moments that matter most while maintaining a cinematic and visually engaging style.
